Ludi Victoriae De Romanis Illustribus.
Once at two days of the Ludi Victoriae, between 16.00 and 24.00 Rome time, two questions will be published.  The main themes of this Contest , De Romani Illustribus, will be about roman legendary heroes, men and womens.

Ludi Victoriae Certamen Historicum Daciae.

During Ludi Victoriae, between 16.00 and 24.00 (Roman time) there will be a historical contest with two questions, once at two  days, about Dacia history. Why about Dacia ? Because in this year, more specifically, at 11 August, that province will celebrate 1900 years from the end of the war between dacians and romans.  Is an important date in our history, and us, all novi romani from Dacia are proud to be contemporans with that major event. In the memory of all involved in that war, romans and dacians, I decide to organize this Certamen. It's a way to celebrate their courage and sacrifice on the battle field.

Ludi Victoriae Circenses

An entrant who wishes to participate in the Ludi Circenses must send a subscription to iulius_sabinus@yahoo.com  between 12 July to 19 July (24.00 roman time). Each subscription must bear the subject header "Ludi Circenses" and include the following information:

A. His/her name in Nova Roma;
B. The name of his/her driver;
C. The name of his/her chariot;
D. His/her tactics for the Quarter and Semifinals;
E. His/her tactics for the Finals;
F. The name of his/her "factio" or team ( Albata ,  Praesina,  Russata  or  Veneta );
G. Dirty actions against another factio in a specific round (quarter- final, semi-final, or final) and amount of sesterces paid in support of it (an entrant does not have to pay sesterces to commission a dirty action, but doing so increases the chances of success);
H. Defence against dirty actions in a specific round (quarter-final, semi-final, or final) and amount of sesterces paid in support of it (an entrant does not have to pay sesterces to defend against a dirty action, but doing so decreases the chances of success of the dirty action);
I. If sesterces from multiple entrants are pooled to take a dirty action or defend against a dirty action, the subscription of each entrant of the pool must so indicate.

Ludi Victoriae Cultural Award

Each competitor can participate sending a work in any language, with a maximum of 1000 words (these kinds of works are accepted: dramatic dialogue) about the subject presented to the   rules   section.

Each text must have the following facts about the participant(s): Nova Roman name,  Nova Roman Province,  and e-mail address.

The deadline to send own work is July 19th 2006 (2759 a.u.c.) at 24.00 time of Roma, by e-mail to  iulia.cytheris.aege@gmail.com with the subject "Ludi Victoriae Cultural Award". Entries posted to any Nova Roma mailing list will be disqualified.

Ludi Victoriae Munera Gladiatoria

The players will complete an application form for  Munera Gladiatoria . For more informations take a look  to the   rules   section.

Subscriptions are admitted until July 19th (24.00 roman time) . Try to describe better your fighter : from where he comes, where he was trained, in which gladiatorial school, who was his lanista, which are his fight abilities and more - in a word -  impresse the peoples with your gladiator or animal story !!!, and,  maybe you will receive one more point in the fights times.. Peoples can vote the fighters from Munera Gladiatoria   between July 20th and July 21th ( 24.00 roman time ).
